USPS Shipping Delays - Hurricanes Sandy Update November 21, 2012 07:57

Service to the Northeast corridor with our provider the USPS continues to improve over the past week, but delays remain. Currently, there are major delays still impacting the Toms River distribution center causing delays throughout New Jersey.

Here are key areas throughout the tri-state that are incurring delays:

Post Offices throughout the Rockaways (NY), Toms River (NJ), Ivoryton (CT), Seaside Park (NJ) and nearly 30 other locations throughout New Jersey and New York are delayed or closed with full restoration of service dates to be determined.

We advise that customers in any of these areas to expect delivery to take a few days longer than our usual shipping schedule as packages are being re-routed to other distribution centers and then post offices for delivery.

United States East Coast Delays November 05, 2012 08:15

In the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy, there are many disruptions to the shipping and supply network in the Tri-State and many areas of the East Coast. Please be advised that if you are in New Jersey and areas around NYC, USPS and Fedex delivery will very likely be delayed. There are several hundred post offices, processing centers, and other distribution components either closed or in limited service.

Additionally, we have delays in shipments of merchandise to our company. We're currently working to get further data as one of our lines of products is excepted to be impacted for the holiday season. We'll have further details shortly.
